Fire fighters

Kristoffers' school got to go to the fire station today and meet the fire fighters. They got their very own fire hats. He was pretty excited. Connor, of course, thought the fire hat should be his.

Katelynn's band competition

Katelynn had her band competition on Thursday. They played three songs for the judges. Check out 1 of her songs under my video clips. The whole band worked very hard. They scored a 1 which is the best score possible. She was very excited.

Ashley receives her trophy!!

Ashley finally received her trophy for getting 3rd overall in the science fair. She got 1st in her division. She received her trophy in front of the school board. She ran up to get her trophy so fast that I wasn't quick enough to get her picture. So I had to take this one after she sat down next to her teacher.

Latest project

A friend of mine taught a class on how to make these cute quilts. We got together with a few friends and quilted and had a really good time. Don't look too close or you will see all of my mistakes!


I never thought that I would be the type that enjoyed quilting but I had so much fun making this one.

Kristoffer is sick again

Poor Kristoffer came home from school today running a fever. I have a doctors appointment for him this afternoon. I really hope he doesn't have strep again. Poor guy! He gets strep every year. We must have a carrier in our house.


Connor was really looking forward to playing with Kristoffer, so he went and got his own blanket and laid next to him.

Our lives are crazy!!

The past week has been a crazy week! Both of the girls are playing soccer and softball. Katelynn has band practice and Ashley has choir practice. Kristoffer is playing soccer and poor Connor has to run everyone around with me. Jonathon is helping coach Katelynn's softball team plus he is in the bishopric in our ward. In the past week we have had dinner as a family 1 time. That was on Sunday. Between running the kids to practices (which always seems to be at dinner time), Jonathon's meetings, my meetings (I am in the primary presidency in our ward), young women's for Katelynn and any other activities we have going on, we are running around like crazy. Last Saturday we had 5 soccer games. Katelynn had 3 and Ashley and Kristoffer had 1 each. We are looking forward to soccer season ending. On top of all of this I am taking a sociology class online. So our lives are just crazy right now and we are all looking forward to life slowing down.

Kristoffer loses his 1st tooth!!

Kristoffer lost his first tooth yesterday. We don't know when he lost it or where his tooth is. I noticed at dinner last night that he was missing a tooth. I asked him when he lost it and he didn't know. I think he might have been eating and swallowed it. Then we told him the tooth fairy would probably still come and bring him money for his tooth. He didn't really like the idea of a fairy in his room, so he ended up sleeping in Ashley's room. The tooth fairy still found him and put a dollar under his pillow.


He was pretty proud of himself once he realized he lost his tooth.
