The Doctor scared us today!

So we went to UNM today for Kristoffer's CT results and the Doctor comes in and does not look like he has good news. Then he keeps talking to Kristoffer and doesn't really make eye contact with us. My stomach started to drop down into my shoes. Jonathon and I just kept looking at each other with that "Oh no" look on our faces. Then he hands the results to me and says everything looked fine but we were REALLY worried about the lymph nodes in his abdomen (which were swollen several scans ago) and...they have shrunk so now we know that they are not cancerous!! So everything is great!! Surely the Doctor could have come in and said things a whole lot differently to keep me from having chest pain. I guess when you have never been the one on the receiving end of that news you don't realize how much we are watching everything you do, including body language!!

One other thing that was great about today was...originally they had told us that Kristoffer would need to be re-immunized after treatment. They did labs to check and see if he was still immune to any of these viruses and he was!! Yeah!! Now we don't have to give him a million shots that he has already had! Makes me one happy Mama!

Plus this little peanut turned 8 on Monday! When they first diagnosed him I thought I would not see him turn 8. He went to scouts on Wednesday! So cute in his little uniform! He loved being a part of that! I took pictures at his birthday and I will post those later cause I'm tired and gonna relax and enjoy my healthy children for a while!!
