We met with the surgeon today. Kristoffer will have surgery on Monday. They will remove the left kidney, tumor and 1 lymph node. The surgery will last from 4-5 hours and the recovery should be around 5-7 days.

My husband Jimmy had a very similar thing... they took his left kidney too! He's not had a single residual problem and I pray the same for Kristopher!
I sounds like Kristopher has done remarkable through all this...and you seem to have too! I'm glad he is to this point where the surgery can happen. You are in our prayers!
